Parental Rights Policy

- Introduction: Big Rock Tec LLC values the safety and privacy of all those who utilize our platform, but especially minors. We take very seriously our obligations to our younger clientele and their families. Accordingly, we establish standards designed to meet or exceed our requirements under the major data privacy protection laws, the GDPR, CPRA, and COPPA.
- Data Collection from Minors. RPS Boom is based on rock, paper scissors, which is a classic childhood game. Accordingly some of our player base may be under the age of majority. We do not collect any data for minors under the age of 18 without parental consent. To this end, when creating accounts we require identification from either the individual account holder or the parent to verify the age of the player or parental consent. Birthdates are required to participate in RPS Boom. Parents are given email notification of requests for permission and permission acceptance from RPS Boom. In the future, Big Rock Tec LLC reserves the right to use a reputable third party service for the purpose of ascertaining parental consent and user identity in conformity with industry best practices. If this occurs, we will update this policy.
- Parental Controls Parents/legal guardians have the right to access their child’s data. Parents may email support@rpsboom.com to request all personal information stored about a child possessed by Big Rock Tec LLC. That information will include the way the data is used. At this time, Big Rock Tec LLC does not share personal information with third parties, neither that of children nor that of adults, but if it chooses to do so in the future, the proper disclosures will be in an updated privacy policy posted on the main page.
- Big Rock Tec LLC has in place procedures for the destruction of the personal information of minors as soon as their accounts are deleted and well within the statutory period required by law. Note that where law requires, Big Rock Tec LLC will maintain personal information of users to ensure that our services are carried out in compliance with the laws of relevant areas.
**5. Big Rock Tec LLC has placed procedures which ensure that the data of minors is stored in distinct storage, separate from adult personal information and stored in combination with their parents’ data. This is to facilitate accessibility and to ensure that the processing of the data of minors can be handled with the according required higher standards.
- Parental Notifications: During the signup process, Big Rock Tec LLC/RPS Boom sends emails to parents of minors during the creation of their RPS Boom notifying them of the creation of their child’s account. This notification also requests parental permission and details steps parents must take in order to grant this permission. Parents reserve the right to refuse to permit their minor children to create RPS Boom accounts.
**7. Parental Rights: Parents have the right to explicitly prevent the creation of an account by their minor children. They further have the explicit legal right to delete or modify the personal data of their minor children. They additionally have the right to opt out of data collection and any related marketing. These services can either be done within the platform or by emailing our support address, listed below.
